Hello, welcome to AkatsukiAntics!

This is a cosplay group where the soul point is to make friends and have fun. Unlike the more professional cosplay groups, this group will not be about photo shoots and perfect cosplays. Not saying that we can’t have photo shoots or perfect cosplays, just that it is not a requirement of this group. We are all about fun, and meeting other cosplayers that live near by.

Here at AkatsukiAntics everyone is invited to join us and no one will be rejected. If you are already in a group you can be in both. There are no mandatory meetings and everyone’s voice will be heard. Meetings to discuss the group will be held in chat rooms, and are not mandatory. If you have an idea for an event, contest, ect, tell us and we will help you set it up. This is basically a group to set up events where cosplayers can cosplay and meet other cosplayers. We're here to have fun!

You don’t have to cosplay any specific character, we are Akatsuki as in red dawn not the villains in Naruto. Members can cosplay who ever they want.

~About Joining:
Everyone is invited to join our group, all I ask is that you place our icon , (: iconAkatsukiAntics : without the spaces), either in your journal or signature and watch our group. To join send me a note titled ~Join~ and I will add you to our list of members. If you don’t have a dA than you can reach me at konangodsangel@aim.com to join. You don’t have to join to participate in our events, they are all public, unless specified, so feel free to come even if you are not a member.

~About Events:
Our base of operation is St. Louis, Missouri, so that’s where all of our events will be held for now. This doesn’t mean that if you don’t live in Missouri you can’t join, just that our events will be held mostly in St. Louis, Missouri. I will always specify the location and time for all our events. Our events will mostly be cosplaying in various locations. We will set up a date and time to meet at a location, like the Zoo, Mall, Park, some random store, the movies, ect., where we will cosplay, take pictures, make friends, hang out, and have a good time. (We ask that you cosplay but as long as you have on something Anime/manga/game related you can come that way. It is more fun if everyone cosplays though.

No events will be mandatory but it will be greatly appreciated if you tell us ahead of time if you will be coming or not. It will give us an idea of how many people to expect at each event.

~Setting Up Events~
If you want to set up an event send me a note titled ~Event~ telling us what you want to do and we will help you set it up.

~Submitting Art Work Or Photos ~
We greatly appreciate Photos from our events so if you are ok with us posting pictures you have taken at our events than send a note titled ~Submit~ with a link to the pictures. You will always receive credit for your work and a link will be added back to the original art work.
We also appreciate any other art work you want to submit as long as it has something to do with cosplay or our group.
